Holly Brasher
Attorney
Holly Brasher is a Managing Attorney with Summit Family Law in the Birmingham, Alabama office.
Born and raised in Birmingham, Holly went to law school with dreams of helping her fellow Alabamians navigate legal challenges. Her practice focuses primarily on family law matters throughout the State, with special concentration on divorce. Prior to joining Summit Family Law Group, Holly worked as a litigation attorney for a prominent Alabama civil litigation firm for two year where she proudly represented individuals from all of Alabama’s 67 counties.
She graduated summa cum laude from Samford University with her undergraduate degrees. She then attended Cumberland School of Law as the first student to complete the “3+3” Accelerated Law Degree Program, which allowed her to complete her undergraduate study in three years and attend law school a year early.
In law school, Holly was the editor-in-chief of Cumberland’s American Journal of Trial Advocacy, the nation’s oldest law review dedicated to the art of trial advocacy.
Holly was published by the American Journal of Trial Advocacy four times, writing on a wide-range of hot-button legal topics.
She also served as a Judge Abraham Caruthers teaching fellow with the Lawyering and Legal Reasoning Department, and she was a team leader on the Career Development Advisory Board.
She was a member of the Judge James Edwin Horton Inn of Courts, as well as the Phi Alpha Delta legal fraternity.
She is still involved at her alma mater, mentoring future lawyers and judging student trial and mediation competitions.
Holly is a member of the Young Lawyers Section of the Alabama State Bar, as well as the Birmingham Bar Association. When she is not working, Holly enjoys spending time with her husband, Daniel, and their family, and she is active in her church and her community. Don’t let her smile fool you. She is a zealous advocate and handles adversarial situations with our clients best interest in mind.
